Common Uses
Sildenafil belongs to a group of medicines that holds phosphodiesterases enzimes from acting too quickly. This drug is used to treat erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension.  

How to Take
Before start taking any new medicine please consult with a doctor. The starting dose starts from 25 mg up to 100 mg, according to the tolerance of the patient. Usually, the doctors prescribe 50 mg before sexual intercourse, one time a day. Do not take high dose to avoid high blood pressure. 

Warning and Precautions
Sildenafil sometimes causes drowsiness, dizziness, fainting or blurred vision. Please avoid operating a potentially unsafe tasks or mechanisms such as driving a car, until you know your reaction on it. The effect may be worse if you take alcohol or certain medicines such as sleep aids or muscle relaxants. Use Sildenafil with caution, if you have any problems with heart. It may cause heart attack or stroke. Warn your doctor or dentist that you are taking Sildenafil before receiving medical help. Missed Dose
If your doctor gave you strict instructions not to miss dose and if you missed one take the missed dose as soon as you remembered. If it is time for your next dose, skip it and continue taking you medicine regularly. Do not double the medicine. It can cause severe side effects.

Overdose
Almost any medicine taking in excess doses without consultation with your doctor can cause an overdose. No overdose of Sildenafil has been reported.If you suspect an overdose contact your emergency room immediately.

Storage
Sildenafil should be stored at room temperature in a container it comes in. Protect from heat, sun light and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep away from pets and children.
